Tin Sulphate is a white solid having chemical formula SnSO4 and molar mass of 214.77 g/mol. It finds application as intermediate in chemical industry, for plating purpose in metal processing, and as surface treating agent. This compound is highly deliquescent in nature as it can readily absorb moisture from air and become completely dissolved to form aqueous solution. It decomposes to SO2 & SnO2 by boiling and has melting point of 378 degrees Celsius with 4.15 g/cm3 density. Tin Sulphate is water soluble in nature and has ability to accept 8 hydrogen bonds during chemical reaction.
