Potassium Fluoborate is a white colored crystalline powder which is most commonly utilized as catalyst in various chemical reactions, as component of fluxing & plating, and in metal treatment & processing industries. It has chemical formula KBF4 with molecular weight of 125.91 g/mol and melting point of 530 degrees Celsius. Being highly pure in nature, this compound also finds application in ceramic manufacturing, for sandpapers as abrasive, and wood preserving agent. Potassium Fluoborate is a free flowing solid that can also be used in boron’s electrolytic generation. It also serves as grain refining agent and required in preparation of glazing frits.
