Product Description

Fluoboric Acid is widely utilized in organofluorine chemistry for preparation of Freon, fluorocarbons, and ptfe. It also finds application for dissolving rock samples for analysis and for extraction of organic fossils from silicate rocks. Having chemical formula HF(aq), it appears as colorless solution with water miscibility. This acid can be prepared by treating fluorite with calcium sulfate. Fluoboric Acid is used as starting material in processes of various industries including refining, mining, chip cleaning, and glass finishing. It is a corrosive compound that has ability to dissolve oxides and shows high reactivity with glass & metals.
