Potassium Titanium Fluoride is most commonly utilized in formulation of flame retardants, metal treatment, for grain refining, and as active filler in resin bond adhesives. It has high melting point of 800 degrees Celsius with white crystalline appearance in powdered form. This chemical is also used in electrolytic generation of boron and as fluxing & plating component. Potassium Titanium Fluoride has chemical formula K2TiF6 with molecular weight of 240.09 g/mol. It is also used in dentures as a catalyst for molds, for aluminum refining by magnesium removal, and preparation of dental impression compositions.
